FREE ” PUPPY POTTY TRAINING TIPS “
If you follow these free tips your puppy will grow up to be a loving and wellbehaved dog and a joy to have around for the whole family.
Free tip #1Do not punish young puppies if an accident occurs indoor. Puppies can not control their bowels until they are several months old, so even a very obedient dog will have accidents – just like human baby. As the dog grows older, it will develop a better control over its body.
Free tip # 2Always think to praise your dog as soon as it does something right. Every time your puppy relieve itself outdoors (or on a newspaper if you use that method), it should receive a lot of enthusiastic praise, petting and other rewards. Make the puppy understands that you really appreciate its behavior.
Free tip # 3When you take your dog outside to relieve it self, you should ideally choose the same “toilet area” each time. It is easier for your puppy to associate a specific place with potty training. As the puppy grows older, you will gradually expand its toilet area and take longer and longer walks. Praise the puppy every time it relieves it self outdoor. Eventually, the dog will understand that it can relieve itself anywhere as long as it is not indoors.
Free tip # 4Turn one room into a puppy room. This room can be covered in newspaper to protect the floor. All puppies have accidents during their first few months, since they can not control their bladder and bowels. Do not let the puppy into other parts of the house unless it can be supervised and carried outdoors before accidents occur.
Free tip # 5Before you let your puppy explore the rest of your home, you should take it outside and make sure that it relieves it self. Constantly watch over your puppy as it explores the world outside the “puppy-room”. Bring it outside every 30 minutes to avoid indoor accidents. Eventually, you will be able to let your dog play more freely outside the puppy room.
Free tip # 6Patience and consistency is necessary for successful dog potty training. It can be hard, but the more time and effort you put into the dog potty training from the start, the faster your dog will be fully potty trained.
By using positive dog training methods you decrease the odds you will make a mistakeand hurt the training process and you increase the chances your dog will actually learnsomething.
